Amazing bike friendly townhouse conveniently located on a quiet street in the centre of Bourg d'Oisans. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house provides an impressive 150 m² of spacious and very comfortable living for 6 people.
The house is arranged over 3 floors with the ground floor entrance hall leading to a laundry room, 2 bathrooms and a secure garage, perfect for bikes/skis or any other outdoor equipment. The garage is equipped with a track pump, workbench, bike racks, work stand, basic tools and is accessible from the street and from inside the house.
The first floor has 2 landings and 3 spacious bedrooms with an en suite in the main bedroom.
On the top floor is a large 25 m² fully equipped kitchen with a walk-in pantry and dining area with impressive views of Alpe d'Huez. There's also a separate 25 m² sitting room with 3 comfortable sofas, wide screen satellite TV with French and some English channels, media player, DVD player and a Hi Fi sound system. Leading off the sitting room is a sunny west facing terrace (9 m²) with table, chairs and mountain views. Outside is a very small yard with plenty of space to wash your bikes.
Throughout this house there is an eclectic mix of artwork on the walls and antique furniture. The varied styles, along with other unique features add to the overall cool vibe.
The town centre is a minutes walk away with its many bars and restaurants, butcher, bakeries, supermarkets, bike shops and excellent weekly market.
The house is perfectly situated, being close to some of the best cycling routes in the Alps. From the front door you can reach the 21 hairpin bends of Alpe d'Huez within minutes. It's also a perfect starting point for Col du Galibier, Col d'Ornon, Col de la Croix de Fer and Col du Glandon. Cyclists from all over the world come to Bourg d'Oisans as a base to train, race and explore the challenges offered by the Alps.
